RHEINZINK Asia/Pacific names new President
RHEINZINK Zinc Manufacturing Inc., Shanghai, China has named Thomas J. Hornebo president. He replaces Mr. Jim C. Bower, as he has decided to retire and return back to Canada after more than a decade of successful and dedicated services to RHEINZINK in both North America and throughout Asia/Pacific.
Mr. Hornebo has worked for RHEINZINK focusing on market development since 2003 in various functions and countries. Prior to taking on the presidency of RHEINZINK Zinc Manufacturing in Shanghai, he was president of RHEINZINK America Inc. since 2006.
“I view this as a major opportunity to continue the growth that RHEINZINK has experienced in the façade and roofing cladding industry in China as well as build upon the strong network of sales representatives RHEINZINK has throughout Asia/Pacific,” Hornebo said. “This is a fantastic company with great people and products. RHEINZINK Zinc Manufacturing (Shanghai) Inc. led the introduction of zinc as an important architectural material from its hub in Shanghai, China throughout Asia/Pacific since 2003 and continues to provide comprehensive technical support to architects and contractors.
